With these ideas in mind it is easy to see that the curriculum of the Christian school must be first and foremost Christ centered. It must be geared to meet the needs of the child at their developmental level. The focus is on the child.
Christian education must be Christian as well as education. To be Christian it must integrate the Christian way of life and viewpoints into the material being studied. The curriculum should influence and reinforce the Christian commitment of the student.
Christian education must also be education. It should not take the place of the church or the home. It is not a catechism class and should not be repetitive of a Sunday School class. Christianity is part of our whole life. Education must include it as it is related to the full range of subjects the student studies in his learning of God's world. |

What then is the aim of education? Education, to be of value, must aim at equipping the student for life outside the classroom as well as inside, now and in the future. God is the authority in all aspects of life. The student comes to know this through an education which is Christ centered. The child must then be able to live the Christian life in contemporary society.Learning must aim at growth in the child. This growth must develop the moral, intellectual and creative aspects of the child. Intellectual growth demands that the child is taught to think clearly and systematically. Moral growth is necessary to make the child increasingly aware of issues and crises in the world and also of his own responsibility to help. Each child is a unique individual with special talents. He should be encouraged to be creative, starting in the lowest grades. By using his imagination the child builds innovation spontaneity and self-expression. |

We believe that God is in all of life. He is our maker. His world is our laboratory. His word is our guide. His Son Jesus Christ, is our Redeemer, and we are to live lives of love and service to Him. In order to pass these things along to our children, we need a school that is based on God |
